2011 ADP 0007480—In the matter of the adoption of Joshua Gregory Criss.
Tonya Lynn Criss, being first duly sworn, deposes and says that she is the petitioner in the above entitled proceedings for the adoption of the minor child of Jackie Lee Criss and Maryann Venus Yost, parents, that Maryann Venus Yost, aforementioned, does not reside within the State of Ohio, her last place of residence being unknown.
It is alleged that Maryann Venus Yost has failed without justifiable cause to provide more than the de minimis contact with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding either the filing of the adoption petition or placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner. That other than above set forth, the residence of said parent is unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained; that this case is mentioned in Section 3107.11 of the Revised Code of Ohio, requiring compliance with the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure as to notice.
Said cause is ordered set for hearing on the 20th day of June, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the Court may hear the same.
