Defendant Ahmad Albanna, whose last known address is 27979 Southern Dr., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, shall take notice that you have been named in a legal action captioned: Jirawan S. Faber, Adm. v. PNA Transport, LLC, et al. This action has been assigned Case No. 1:19-cv-849 and is pending in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, 801 West Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, Honorable Judge Pamela A. Barker presiding. The object of this case is recovery of money damages resulting from a March 13, 2018 motor-vehicle collision involving a semi-tractor trailer owned/managed/operated by Defendants and a passenger vehicle operated by Sutthiphong Sandod in Poplarville (Pearl River County), Mississippi. Plaintiff's claims against Defendants include wrongful death/survivorship, negligence, vicarious liability, and punitive damages for fraudulently and unlawfully operating a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce.
On April 16, 2019, Plaintiff filed her Complaint, seeking judgment against the Defendants, individually, collectively, and jointly and severally, in an amount of $12,000,000.00, including compensatory and punitive damages and costs, reasonable attorneys' fees, interest, and further relief to which Plaintiff may be entitled at law or in equity.
Plaintiff demands that Defendant Ahmad Albanna be required to answer Plaintiff's Complaint within 21 days after the last publication of this notice, which will be published once each week for six consecutive weeks. The final publication will be on October 22, 2019. In the event you fail to answer or otherwise respond as required by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded.
