932885—Ahmad Alothman, et al. vs. Mark W. Kraley, et al.
Mark W. Kraley, whose last known place of residence is 6288 Yorktown Drive, Parma, Ohio 44134, otherwise whose place of residence is unknown, will take notice that on May 28, 2020, the undersigned, Ahmad Alothman and Ahmad Alothman, Father and Natural Guardian of Raghad Alothman, a minor, filed their complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, 1200 Ontario Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, alleging that on or about November 21, 2017, during the early afternoon hours, Plaintiffs, Ahmad Alothman and Raghad Alothman, were passengers in a motor vehicle being operated by Defendant, Mark W. Kraley, on southbound Interstate 77 in the City of Broadview Heights, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, Defendant Kraley negligently operated his motor vehicle in such a fashion so as to make a sudden lane change and entrance into another southbound lane in the face of stopping traffic with the result that another southbound vehicle belonging to and being operate by Defendant Kevin Patrick was unable to stop due to Defendant Kraley's sudden entrance and struck the rear of the vehicle in which Plaintiffs were passengers, causing both Plaintiffs severe and permanent injury; that as a direct and proximate result of the negligence of Defendant, Mark W. Kraley, Plaintiff Ahmad Alothman has sustained personal and permanent injuries and has incurred medical expenses; that as a direct and proximate result of the negligence of Defendant, Mark W. Kraley, Plaintiff Ahmad Alothman has lost wages.
At all times relevant, Ahmad Alothman, was the father and natural guardians of his thirteen year old daughter Plaintiff Raghad Alothman; that as a direct and proximate result of the negligence of Defendant Mark W. Kraley, Plaintiff, Raghad Alothman has sustained personal injuries and has incurred medical expenses.
As a further direct and proximate result of the negligence of the Defendant Mark W. Kraley, Plaintiff Ahmad Alothman, has lost the love, guidance, services, solace, companionship, society, and affection of his minor daughter, Plaintiff Raghad Alothman.
Wherefore, Plaintiffs demand judgment against both of the Defendants, jointly and severally, in an amount greatly in excess of $25,000.00. In addition, each Plaintiff demands that the Defendants, jointly, be assessed the costs of this action.
The defendant named above is required to answer on or before the 15th day of September, 2021.
