907882—Treasurer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio vs. GSD Investments, LLC, et al.
Duane Hicks, whose last known place of residence is 1169 East 58th Street, Cleveland, OH 44103, otherwise whose place of residence is unknown, will take notice that on December 4, 2018, the undersigned, Treasurer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, filed his complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, 1200 Ontario Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, alleging that by reason of default of the defendants in the payment of taxes, assessments, penalties and the interest upon real estate as delinquent the sum of $1,478.63 is due and unpaid and a first and prior lien against the following described real estate to wit:
Permanent Parcel No. 104-12-047
Parcel No. 1:
Situated in the City of Cleveland, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as being part of Sublot No. 1 in Helen M. Brown and Hutchinson Brown's Re-Subdivision of part of M.M. Spangler's Allotment of part of Original One Hundred Acre Lot No. 343, as shown by the recorded plat of said Re-Subdivision in Volume 4 of Maps, Page 7 of Cuyahoga County Records bounded and described as follows:
Beginning on the Northeasterly line of said Sublot No. 1 at a point 120 feet Northwesterly from the most Easterly corner of said Sublot No. 1, (said beginning point being also the most Westerly corner of Sublot No. 9 in said Re-Subdivision);
thence Southeasterly along said Northeasterly line of Sublot No. 1, 120 feet to the most Easterly corner thereof;
thence Southwesterly along the Southeasterly line of said Sublot No. 1, to the most Southerly corner thereof;
thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of said Sub Lot No. 1, 120 feet;
thence Northeasterly to the place of beginning, as appears by said plat, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways.
Parcel No. 2:
Situated in the City of Cleveland, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as being Sublot No. 7 in Paul Kindsvater's Re-Subdivision of part of M.M. Spangler's Allotment of part of Original One Hundred Acre Lot No. 343, as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 12 of Maps, Page 5 of Cuyahoga County Records, and being 46.3 feet front on the Easterly side of Haff Street (now known as East 58th Street) 100 feet deep on the Northerly line, 118.24 feet deep on the Southerly line and 99.8 feet in the rear, as appears by said plat, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways.
Plaintiff prays that the defendants named above be required to answer and set up their interest in said premises or be forever barred from asserting the same; that all taxes, assessments, penalties and interest due and unpaid, together with the costs of certificate of title, be found to be a good and valid first lien on said premises, that the equity of redemption of said premises be foreclosed, said premises sold as provided by law, and for such other relief as is just and equitable.
The defendants named above are required to answer on or before the 19th day of February, 2019.
