    942473—Treasurer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio vs. John W. Root, et al.

    John W. Root, whose last known place of residence is 358 North Rocky River Drive, Berea, OH 44017, otherwise whose place of residence is unknown; and Kathleen Scrivens, whose last known place of residence is 605 Guilford Boulevard, Medina, OH 44256, otherwise whose place of residence is unknown, will take notice that on December 31, 2020, the undersigned, Treasurer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, filed his complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, 1200 Ontario Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, alleging that by reason of default of the defendants in the payment of taxes, assessments, penalties and the interest upon real estate as delinquent the sum of $3,371.86 is due and unpaid and a first and prior lien against the following described real estate to wit:

    Permanent Parcel No. 362-08-069

    Situated in the City of Berea, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: And known as being Sublot No. 2 in J. Gilruth's Subdivision of part of Original Middleburg Township Lots Nos. 17 and 18, as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 1 of Maps, Page 6 of Cuyahoga County Records.

    Excepting and reserving therefrom that part of same deeded by William B. Rogers and Laura B. Rogers to The Cleveland Columbus and Cincinnati Railroad Company, by deed dated November 6, 1863, and recorded in Volume 123, Page 185 of Cuyahoga County Records. Be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways.

    Plaintiff prays that the defendants named above be required to answer and set up their interest in said premises or be forever barred from asserting the same; that all taxes, assessments, penalties and interest due and unpaid, together with the costs of certificate of title, be found to be a good and valid first lien on said premises, that the equity of redemption of said premises be foreclosed, said premises sold as provided by law, and for such other relief as is just and equitable.

    The defendants named above are required to answer on or before the 25th day of October, 2021.
