Legal Notice2024 ADV 289405—Suree A. Hughes vs. Jefferson Hughes, Individually and as Executor of the Estate of Joseph L. Hughes, et al.Jenny Lane, whose last known address and current address are unknown, will take notice that on June 3, 2024, the undersigned, Suree A. Hughes, filed a complaint in the Probate Court One Lakeside Avenue, N.W., of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, alleging that Plaintiff is a next of kin of Joseph L. Hughes, deceased, and entitled to inherit under ORC 2105.06 if the decedent died intestate; that Joseph L. Hughes died on March 4, 2023 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio; that the document purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Joseph L. Hughes, deceased, has been admitted to Probate Court and a Certificate of Service of Notice of Probate of Will was filed with this Court on March 8, 2024; and that the document admitted to probate as the Last Will and Testament of Joseph L. Hughes, deceased, is not the Last Will and Testament of Joseph L. Hughes, deceased, including but not limited to the following reasons: decedent executed the document purporting to be the Last Will and Testament while under severe pressure and/or under influence of the Defendants or their agents; decedent lacked testamentary capacity to execute such document; and decedent was mistaken as to the nature and terms of said document.
Plaintiff demands judgment that the purported Will of Joseph L. Hughes, deceased, be decreed invalid and set aside, and that the cost of the within proceeding be assessed to the Defendants.
The defendant named above is required to answer on or before the 21st day of August, 2024.
