Alerding, et al.Unknown Heirs of James Michael Sorrell, the place of residence of each being unknown, will take notice that on April 4, 2025, the undersigned, Christina M. Bushnell, Administrator of the Estate of James Michael Sorrell, deceased, filed a complaint in the Probate Court, 1 Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, alleging that James Michael Sorrell died a resident of Cuyahoga County, Ohio on June 11, 2024; that to the best of knowledge and belief, the decedent did not have a living spouse, children, living parents, or living siblings at the time of his death; that to the knowledge of Ms. Bushnell as Administrator of the Estate, the decedent did not leave a Will and died intestate; that despite reasonable diligence, the Administrator is without knowledge as to an accurate and complete list of who next of kin/heirs at law are for James Michael Sorrell, deceased.
Christina M. Bushnell, as Administrator of the Estate of James Michael Sorrell, deceased, hereby moves the Court for the following relief on this Complaint for Determination of Heirs:
A. An Order Appointing a Trustee for Suit to represent the unknown next of kin/heirs at law of James Michael Sorrell, deceased.
B. An order identifying the next of kin/heirs at law of James Michael Sorrell, deceased.
C. An order fixing the interests in the net distributable Probate Estate of any Court determined next of kin/heirs at law of James Michael Sorrell, deceased.
D. An order finding that this Complaint was brought in good faith and in the best interest of the Estate.
E. For all other appropriate relief available under the law, facts and equities of the case.
The defendants named above are required to answer on or before the 12th day of June, 2025.
